  30.     It is very true what Andy says, Amos has the amazing ability to
  31. simply look for files in the current directory, so just stick your files
  32. in the same directory as your proggy and your safe and sound, then no more
  33.     Load "work:apps/amos_pro/myamosstuff/mygame/bobs.abk"
  34.     just
  35.     Load "bobs.abk"
  36.  
  37.     this is incredibly useful as you can then move your prog. around
  38. to your heart's content so long as the support files go with it.
  39.     At work I use Excel which does not have this feature, believe me
  40. it sucks!  Suppose you try to make a copy of some work, like to give to
  41. your boss, forget about it, all your links are set to somewhere on your
  42. hard drive, it's nothing but error messages when he trys to load the thing
  43. on his machine, even if you've given him the support files, it doesn't
  44. matter because stupid Excel doesn't know where to look for them.

  46.     So the moral of the story is you have this feature USE IT!
  47.     Also does anyone know if you can load from sub directories of the
  48. current dir, like
  49.     load "maps/Level3.map"
  50.     Does that work? or is it a no dir. structure or full dir.
